Delete your account in the app
If you still have access to Selah Notes, you can request or perform account deletion from inside the app.
- Open Selah Notes.
- Go to Profile or Account settings.
- Open Account settings.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Follow the confirmation steps.
Deleting your account may remove Firebase Authentication account data and associated cloud data linked to the account. Local notes and backup/export files may still need to be deleted manually from your device or from wherever you saved them.
Request deletion from the web
Use this form if you have uninstalled the app, cannot access the in-app deletion option, or want to request partial deletion of specific cloud records.
account_deletion_requests. It does not collect passwords, tokens, note content, backup files, device IDs, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Fallback email request
If the form does not work, email us at:
Email: support@selahnotes.kingstech.dev
Please include:
- the account email address connected to Selah Notes;
- whether you want your full account deleted;
- whether you want all associated cloud data deleted;
- whether you only want feedback/support messages deleted;
- whether you only want rating feedback deleted.
How to request deletion of some data
You do not need to delete your full account to request deletion of specific cloud records. You may ask us to delete feedback/support messages, private rating feedback, or other account-related cloud data associated with your email address or Firebase user ID, where applicable.
In your request, clearly say what you want removed. For example: "Please delete my feedback/support messages only" or "Please delete rating feedback linked to my account."
What data can be deleted
Where applicable, we can delete:
- Firebase Authentication account data;
- feedback/support messages linked to your email address or user ID;
- rating feedback linked to your email address or user ID;
- other account-related cloud data associated with your account.
Local notes and device data
Notes stored locally on your device may remain on that device unless you delete them in the app, clear the app data, or uninstall Selah Notes. Because this data is stored locally under your control, deleting a Firebase account does not automatically remove local notes from your phone or tablet.
If you want to remove local notes, delete them in the app and empty/remove trash where available, or use your device settings to clear Selah Notes app data or uninstall the app.
Backups and exported files
Backup and export files created by you are stored wherever you saved or shared them. These files may include note content, categories, archive/trash state, and reminder times.
Selah Notes cannot delete backup files from your Google Drive, email, file manager, external storage, cloud storage, messaging apps, or any other location where you exported or shared them outside the app. You must delete those files yourself from each place where they were saved.
Processing timeframe and retention
We aim to process account and data deletion requests within 30 days after receiving enough information to identify the relevant account or records.
Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or abuse prevention. We do not promise instant deletion.
